Set the Space
Choose a quiet spot, outside under the moon if possible, or by a window with moonlight streaming in. Light a candle (white for purity or red for transformation). Place a small bowl of water nearby to symbolize cleansing.
Ground Yourself
Sit comfortably with your feet flat or legs crossed. Close your eyes and imagine roots growing from you into the earth, anchoring you. Take three deep breaths, inhaling healing light and exhaling heaviness.
Write the Pieces
On a sheet of paper, write down the pieces you are ready to release: old trauma loops, grief over estrangement, self-blame, pain and illness that feel like chains, and distractions that keep you from clarity. Think of it as sorting puzzle pieces. Some belong, some no longer fit.
Blood Moon Invocation
Say aloud or whisper:
By the light of this Blood Moon, I release what no longer belongs.
The weight of pain, the echoes of estrangement, the grip of fear, I honor them, and now I set them aside.
I call in healing, clarity, and radiant renewal.
As the moon is reborn, so am I.
Release the Paper
Burn the paper safely in a fireproof dish or tear it into small pieces and place them in the bowl of water. As you do, visualize the red moonlight dissolving those burdens.
Seal with Intention
Place your hands over your heart and say:
I claim my healing. I claim my light. I am whole, even as the puzzle is still unfolding.
Sit quietly for a few moments, letting the stillness sink in.
Close
If you used water, pour it into the earth or down the drain with gratitude. Extinguish the candle and give thanks.
